- From showing up on LinkedIn with no clients to making it the ultimate door opener for me and my business, and this is how posting on LinkedIn changed my life. I run a one person video production company in London. I post about video content, creativity, storytelling, lots of comedic and funny content, and I also document my business journey. From day zero to present day, I came to LinkedIn with the sole purpose of finding leads and clients for my business. But what I've found over the years has been so, so, so much more than that. I realized that I have such a passion for being here, and it's actually become my epicenter to try out new ideas, my creativity, express my thought, and the outcomes have been amazing. Yes, of course there's been clients, but then there's also been podcast appearances, speaker gigs. There's been collaborations, but most importantly, I've made some incredible connections. I think it's important to say that this did not happen overnight. It wasn't just one post. It has been many. It's been a genuine, consistent, and intentional effort. I love my content and I love making it, and I genuinely think that you need to because how can you expect people to love consuming it if you don't love creating it? My advice is you need to find and keep hold of the love of doing it. I had no idea what being on LinkedIn would turn into, but I've always been one to roll the dice and I won't be stopping anytime soon.
